 ਵਾਸ਼ਿੰਗਟਨ-ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਕੌਡਾਲੀਜ਼ਾ ਰਾਈਸ ਦੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਖਾਣ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਅਨਾਜਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਜਾਰਜ ਬੁਸ਼ ਵੀ ਮੰਨਣ ਲੱਗੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮੱਧ ਵਰਗ ਦੀ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ਹਾਲੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਅਨਾਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਅਸਮਾਨ ਛੂਹ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਬੁਸ਼ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿਚ 35 ਕਰੋੜ ਲੋਕ ਮੱਧ ਵਰਗ ਵਿਚ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਵਸੋਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀ ਪੈਸਾ ਕਮਾਉਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀ ਚੰਗਾ-ਚੋਖਾ ਖਾਣ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੰਗ ਵੱਧਣ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਰਾਈਸ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਚੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਖ਼ੁਰਾਕ ਵਿਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਅਨਾਜ ਬਰਾਮਦ ‘ਤੇ ਪਾਬੰਦੀ ਲਗਾ ਦੇਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਵਿਚ ਅਨਾਜ ਸੰਕਟ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਰਾਈਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਜੈਵਿਕ ਬਾਲਣ ਦੇ ਉਤਪਾਦਨ ਵਿਚ ਅਨਾਜਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਖ਼ੁਰਾਕ ਸੰਕਟ ਨੂੰ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਬੁਸ਼ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਉਲਟ ਮੱਕੀ ਤੋਂ ਐਥੇਨੋਲ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਨੂੰ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਵੱਧਣ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਮੰਨਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿਤਾ। ਬੁਸ਼ ਨੇ ਐਥੇਨੋਲ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਹਮਾਇਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਅਨਾਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਧਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਲਈ ਤੇਲ ਅਤੇ ਖਾਦਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਾਧੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਖੇਤੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਏ ਵਾਧੇ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ। ਬੁਸ਼ ਨੇ ਮੌਸਮ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਦਸਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਨਾਜ ਉਤਪਾਦਨ ਦੇ ਕੁੱਝ ਵੱਡੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਸੋਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਤ ਹਨ। ਬੁਸ਼ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਨੇ ਅਨਾਜ ਸੰਕਟ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਪਟਣ ਲਈ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਦਿਤੀ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੋਰ ਪੈਸਾ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।

 LAHORE, May 1: An Indo-Pak co-production ‘Janat’ will be released for the first time simultaneously in Pakistan and India on May 16.
Earlier ‘Awarapan’ was released in the same week but not the same day. The premiere of the film will be held on May 13 in Lahore and the cast from India will attend the event.
The cast includes Emraan Hashmi, Sonal Chauhan, a new face from Delhi, Samir Kochhar, Vishal Malhotra and Javed Sheikh.
The movie has been written and directed by Kunal Deshmukh, who was assistant director of ‘Awarapan’. The singers are Kamran Ahmad, who is a Dubai-based Pakistani, KK, Richa Sharma, Rupam Islam and Rana Mazunder. Sayeed Qadri, Kamran Ahmad and Neelesh Misra penned down the lyrics while Pritam Chakraborty composed the music.
The film has been produced on the basis of 50-50 per cent by Suhail Khan from Pakistani side and Mahesh Bhatt from across the border. The film has been shot in South Africa.
The story of the film was about a bookie, who fixes cricket matches. A time comes when he has to choose between his girlfriend and the profession.
The film's cost is around Rs150 million.
A large number of showbiz personalities and film taskmasters are expected to attend the film premiere.

 ਲੰਡਨ- ਚੀਨ ਵਰਗੇ ਵਿਕਸਤ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਛੋਟੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਚੰਗੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਬਾਲ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੇਆਮ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। 10 ਸਾਲ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਛੋਟੇ-ਛੋਟੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਕੂਲ ਭੇਜਣ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਾਨਿਕਸ ਅਤੇ ਖਿਡੌਣਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਫੈਕਟਰੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਬੰਧੂਆ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਵਰਗੇ ਵਿਵਹਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕੰਮ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸਬਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਖਰੀਦ-ਵਿੱਕਰੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਦਾ ਟੈਲੀਗ੍ਰਾਫ ਦੇ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਚੀਨ ਸਥਿਤ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਾਨਿਕਸ ਅਤੇ ਖਿਡੌਣਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਫੈਕਟਰੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਕੰਮ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਖਰੀਦ-ਵਿੱਕਰੀ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਚੀਨ ਦੇ ਸੰਘਣੀ ਆਬਾਦੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਂਤ ਸਿਚੁਆਨ ਵਿਚ ਚੱਲਦਾ ਹੈ। ਰਿਪੋਰਟਰ ਦੇ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਲਾਈਨ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਟਰੱਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਭਰ ਕੇ ਚੀਨ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਕਹੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਪਰਲ ਰਿਵਰ ਡੇਲਟਾਂ ਸਥਿਤ ਫੈਕਟਰੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਾਲੀ-ਗਲੋਚ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਵੀ ਹੋਣਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਵਰਣਨਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਚੀਨ ਵਿਚ ਨਵੇਂ ਸਾਲ ਯਾਨਿ ਫਰਵਰੀ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਵਿਚ 76 ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਗੁੰਮ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈ ਸੀ।
