 Davis Di Dynasty CALIFORNIA,Davis Di Dynasty, also known as 3D, is a prestigious co-ed bhangra teamfrom Davis, California, which originated in 2004. This team has come a longway, and has competed in competitions all over the nation and has also traveled out to Canada to compete in some of the most crowd-attracting bhangra competitions in the world. Recently the 3D squad has taken 2 first place titles from 2 competitions, from the east and west coast. The competitions were located in Miami, Florida (Miami Bhangra Competition 2008) and Dhol Di Awaz 2008 which takes place in the bay area. Under the leadership of Ajiteshwar Singh, the captain and founder of the group, this team went to new heights in setting a new trend for bhangra. These competitions were held on back-to-back weekends. They were one of the first teams in the nation to perform all live, which incorporates no sort of playable audio, but with the help of excellent musicians within California. Along with the blessings and magical voice of Anoop Singh Cheema, a member of Sangeet Group of California, this team set a new standard for co-ed bhangra. Traditionally, Bhangra is performed by only men, but as time has passed, females have also started doing bhangra.
